Jude Lennon - Author Visit

We had a fantastic time in school on Wednesday when we welcomed author Jude Lennon into school. She shared some amazing stories with our pupils, many who subsequently picked up signed copies of her books!

Early Years Curriculum Session

Thanks to all of the family members who joined us in school for our EYs Curriculum Session on Thursday. We have sent the slides out via ParentApp for anyone who was unable to attend.

Summer Reading Challenge

A big shoutout to all of the Shoreside pupils who completed Sefton Libraries' Summer Reading Challenge. We were awarded a trophy in an assembly this week for the school with the most improved engagement in the scheme so well done to everyone who got involved!

PTFA Welcome Night

Thank you to our PTFA committee who hosted a successful Welcome Night. It was a great opportunity to discuss fundraising opportunities for the year ahead!

Next week... Come and See & Stay and Play!

On Tuesday, we are so excited for our first Come and See & Stay and Play events for this year. For Years 1-6, parents are invited to join us in the classroom until 9:30AM to enjoy the first part of your child's day in school. 

Then in the afternoon, it's time for Early Years as we invite parents/carers to join us from 2:30PM for the last part of Pre-Nursery/Nursery/Reception's day. PN/N entry will be via their classroom doors. Reception parents should arrive at the School Office for 2:30PM where you will be met and taken to the Reception classroom.
