Weekly Blog - Au2/Week 6

Our penultimate week of learning is over and what a week it has been! Alongside all our learning, we've had some amazing festive events so read on for more information!

Christmas Fair

Last week's Christmas Fair raised an incredible £1652 for school funds. A huge thank you to the PTFA for organising such a brilliant event and our thanks to everyone who came along to support it.

Save The Children UK Christmas Jumper Day

We have raised over £150 for Save The Children this week through our Christmas Jumper Day. Well done to all of our pupils who looked fantastic and thanks to Year 2 for organising this special day for their class charity.

Panto/Polar Express

What an incredible day we had on Tuesday! Reception-Year 6 had a brilliant time at The Atkinson to watch Beauty and The Beast, whilst our PN/N pupils loved their Polar Express adventure in the School Hall. Thanks to everyone who supported these events to ensure they ran so smoothly.

And finally...

Every single child in school has performed on the stage this week. From our EYs Christmas Performance on Tuesday, to KS2 Christmas Songs on Friday morning and our KS1 nativity this afternoon - what an incredible achievement! We are so proud of all of our pupils and we hope you enjoyed the festive performances too.

Next Week

Here are the events for next week. A reminder that children do not need to pre book in for Christmas Lunch. Instead, please they will just inform their class teacher in the morning.

With so many festive activities, we're running a week behind on the highlights so please enjoy last week's below and we will continue to compile the highlights from this incredible week we've had! Have a lovely weekend everyone.
