Weekly Blog - Aut 1/Week 2

As the second full week draws to an end, it's time to look back over some of the highlights, as well as looking ahead at future events!

Enrichment Clubs

It's been great to see so many pupils staying after school to enjoy our enrichment clubs. Pupils in Years 1-6 have enjoyed a variety of clubs, including mindfulness and colouring clubs!

School Council Elections - Y1-6

Well done to each and every child who put themselves forward for School Council. We were so proud to see so many pupils standing up in front of their classmates and presenting their ideas. Voted for by their classmates, our new School Councillors have been told of their new appointments and we look forward to meeting the new council in the coming weeks!

Year 6's Trip to London

Well done to all of our Year 6 pupils who represented school magnificently in London on Thursday. They had an amazing day visiting the Houses of Parliament and seeing so many sights!

PTA Welcome Night

Parents, teachers and friends of Shoreside Primary School — we’d love to see you there! 
Come along for an informal drop-in evening and a chance to:

  •  Meet the new faces in our school community
  •  Share your ideas — new ideas are always welcome!
  •  Meet the PTFA Committee for 2026–27
  •  Hear about our fundraising goals and plans for the year ahead
  •  Enjoy a drink on arrival and some nibbles
  •  Catch up with other parents, teachers and friends
