Weekly Blog - Au2/Week 1

What a great first week back to start a brand new half term at Shoreside!

This week has seen lots of exciting things happening, from our Y5/6 footballers representing the school in a cup match, a designer/illustrator visiting Y5 to talk to them about her exciting career and our youngest children have been looking after our school by completing a litter pick! Along with all of this, there has been brilliant learning happening in all of our classes!

Next week is a very busy week as you can see from our Key Diary Dates!

On Monday 10th, pupils should wear odd socks in addition to their usual school uniform that day as part of anti-bullying week which the pupils will be looking at as part of our PSHCE curriculum.

On Tuesday 11th, Y6 parents are invited to school for 10:45AM to watch their Remembrance Service.

On Wednesday 12th or Thursday 13th, you will have hopefully booked your Progress Evening appointment via the Arbor app. Please arrive via the Fire Door in the Main School Hall (located by Nursery's outdoor learning environment). We can't wait to celebrate your child's progress with you!

On Friday 14th, children can wear their own clothes for Children In Need which is the class charity of our Early Years. We are asking for a £1 donation which can be brought in on Friday and our pupils will collect all the money to donate to this important charity!

We hope you have a fantastic weekend and we look forward to seeing all pupils in school (in their odd socks!) on Monday. Enjoy this week's highlights!
