Weekly Blog - Su2/Week 2

It's been a busy second week of Summer 2 at Shoreside so let's find out about this week's highlights.

Pupils represented school at netball and cricket tournaments this week - well done to everyone who took part. On Thursday night, a group of Year 5/6 pupils danced in the Wally Cain dance festival at The Atkinson Theatre. We are so proud of the group who danced magnificently! In addition to all of this, Year 1 pupils have completed their Phonics Screening Check and Year 4 pupils have completed their Multiplication Table Check. Well done to all of them!

NSPCC Childhood Day - Move a Mile

Thank you to Year 4 for organising last Friday's non-uniform day for the NSPCC. All classes 'moved a mile' and the school raised £185.71 for a great cause. Thanks to all of the parents/carers who donated.

Recycling Items Wanted

We are doing a project in school next week with a group of pupils which is linked to sustainability. If you have any recycled containers, tubes, card or newspaper, please drop them off in a bag at the School Office on Monday or Tuesday. We will be incredibly grateful for anything you can bring in to help our project!

We hope you enjoy watching this week's highlights and have a lovely weekend!
